Cross-Ice Hockey is for boys and girls ages 5-8. The Clarkstown Capitals have fielded a mite team since 2001. If you have a youngster interested in playing hockey, this is the age group to get them started in. The sooner the better. At the mighty-mite level there will be a heavy focus on development. There will be competition but our priority will be on skills development.
The CCHC Cross-Ice Mites will play in the Hudson Valley region. A typical season consists of 10-12 games depending on the readiness of the players. This level is for development of skills and learning the game. Practice is once a week and games are typically on the weekends.
